Clifford Brown

Clifford Brown (October 30, 1930 June 26, 1956) was an American jazz trumpeter. He performed with Chris Powell, Tadd Dameron, Lionel Hampton, and Art Blakey before forming his own group with Max Roach. Playing in a hard bop style, he quickly became one of the most highly regarded trumpeters in jazz. He died in a car accident at the age of 25.
