Chris Jones

Christopher Jones is a videogame designer. He is most famous for his series of interactive movies starring the hard-boiled, out of his time gumshoe Tex Murphy, a private investigator that lives in the San Francisco of the middle of the 21st century.

Chris Jones, as he is known and credited, began his career at Interplay, where he was involved in the development of many products. While working there, Chris attended school in the evenings to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

Along with the critically-aclaimed Tex Murphy series, the titles Jones helped create include Rags to Riches, Star Trek: Judgement Rites, Stonekeep, M.A.X., Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, and Planescape: Torment. He was Co-Lead Programmer, along with Tim Cain, on the critically acclaimed Fallout.
