Cheshire cheese

Cheshire cheese is the one of the oldest recorded cheeses in British history. It is produced in Cheshire, England. It is a dense and crumbly cheese with a very sharp flavor derived from the area's abundant deposits of salt. It comes it three varieties - white, red (which has been dyed with annatto), and blue (also known as Shropshire cheese).
