Charles O. (Chad) Holliday
Charles O. Holliday Jr. (Chad) (born
1948) grew up in
Nashville,
Tennessee, and earned his B.S. in industrial engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1970. He immediately turned a summer job at
DuPont into a full-time position as an engineer. He advanced through manufacturing and supervisory positions around the world. He was named CEO in
1998.
