Chambourcin

Chambourcin is a French/American hybrid grape used for making wine. It's parentage is uncertain. The hybrid was produced by Jonnes Seyve who often used Seibel hybrids produced in 1860s. The grape has only been avalible since 1963. The grape produces a deep coloured wine with a full aromatic flavour. Chambourcin has a good resistance to fungal disease.
