Center for American Progress

The Center for American Progress is a newly-created liberal think tank both lead and created by John Podesta, a former chief of staff to Bill Clinton. It is located in Washington, D.C. The Center for American Progress was created in 2003 as an answer to the conservative Heritage Foundation. It recently received a $3 million donation from billionaire financier George Soros, prompting calls of hypocrisy about campaign finance reform from Republicanss.
