Buffalo National River
Buffalo National River is the US's first federally-protected
stream and one of America's great natural treasures. The Buffalo River meanders through the heart of the Ozark Mountainss in
Arkansas for 150 miles before joining the
White River (Arkansas). The preserve is home to the state's only elk herd.
