Broad Street, Birmingham

Broad Street is a major thoroughfare to the immediate West of Birmingham city centre. During the 1990s Broad Street was transformed into a dynamic convention, entertainment and nightlife quarter. This activity grew up around the Birmingham International Convention Centre and Symphony Hall which opened in the early 1990s.

The Broad Street area is home to numerous bars and restaurants, the Brindley Place development and leading cultural institutions such as the Ikon Gallery.
