Brimson, Minnesota

Brimson is an unincorporated town in St. Louis County, Minnesota. It appears on almost all maps of Minnesota, primarily because there are no settlements of any greater significance within about 30 miles. The town is named after its founder.

There is a post office, and a place called Hugo's that operates as a gas station, grocery store, bar, and grill all under one roof. Brimson has a volunteer fire department, though they must use water hauled by truck since there is no public water system.

While there are no official census statistics, around 40 people call the town home.
