Breezy Point is a city located in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 979.

United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 42.7 km² (16.5 mi²). 34.0 km² (13.1 mi²) of it is land and 8.8 km² (3.4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 20.50% water.


\nAs of the
census of 2000, there are 979 people, 413 households, and 306 families residing in the city. The population density is 28.8/km² (74.7/mi²). There are 899 housing units at an average density of 26.5/km² (68.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 98.16% White, 0.20% African American, 0.31% Native American, 0.10% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.20% from other races, and 1.02% from two or more races. 0.31% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 413 households out of which 28.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.3% are married couples living together, 4.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.7% are non-families. 19.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.37 and the average family size is 2.69. In the city the population is spread out with 21.9% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 24.2% from 25 to 44, 29.2% from 45 to 64, and 19.4% who are 65 years of age or older.
