Bounce

This article is about Bon Jovi's album, Bounce.

Bounce is also:

Bon Jovi's tenth album, Bounce was released in October of 2002. Bounce was heavily influenced by the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack, owing in part to Jon Bon Jovi's close proximity to New York.

Critical response to Bounce was largely positive. While Crush was sometimes criticized by long-time fans as being too "poppypy", Bounce represented a return to Bon Jovi's "roots". However, this return to a more "classic Bon Jovi" sound, while a relief to some fans, also brought out some critics that accused the band of being too "formulaic", a critcism that had been leveled at the band in the past.

Bounce debuted at #2 on the "Billboard 200" chart, making it Bon Jovi's highest debut in the band's history.
