Blaenau Gwent

Blaenau Gwent is a unitary authority in South Wales, mostly part of the historic county of Monmouthshire, but covering a part of Brecknockshire around Brynmawr.

The district borders Monmouthshire and Torfaen to the east, Caerphilly to the west and Powys to the north. Its main towns are Abertillery, Brynmawr, Ebbw Vale and Tredegar.
