Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar

Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (April 14, 1892 - December 6, 1956). Indian jurist and politician. He was one of the authors of the India constitution.

He spent most of his life fighting against segregation of the "untouchables", the lowest caste in Indian society. Faced with resistance to his ideas from the Indian elite, he converted to Buddhism.
