Battle of Yorktown (1862)

The Battle of Yorktown (1862) was a battle of the American Civil War. It happened when a regiment or two of General George Mclellans troops met a regiment of the Confederates. The Estimated number of casualties was around 320. This would be considered a skirmish because not many people were involved in the fighting. At the end of this battle however, it seemed that the Union troops managed to pull away with another battle won.

Another famous Battle of Yorktown was the last battle of the American Revolutionary War.
