Baltimore Bayrunners

The Baltimore Bayrunners part of the International Basketball League (IBL) was the most recent professional basketball team Baltimore had seen since the Washington Wizards moved from Baltimore in 1973. The Bayrunners played in the 1st Mariner Bank Arena (formerly the Baltimore Arena). The Bayrunners was a short-lived basketball team, only playing from 1999 to 2000. The Bayrunners was one of the IBL's starting teams when the IBL started in 1999.
