Astwood

Astwood is a village in the County of Milton Keynes in England, on the border with Northamptonshire. Until the administrative reorganisation in 1995 it was in Buckinghamshire.

The village name is Anglo Saxon and means Eastern Wood.

The parish church of St Peter is considered by some as being one of the prettiest in the country. All of the older buildings in the village have thatched rooves making for a very quaint rural setting.
