Astrodynamics

Astrodynamics is the application of Newton's Laws of Motion and Law of Universal Gravitation to the determination of the motion of objects in space. Orbitss of astronomical bodies, such as planets, asteroids, and comets are calculated using the principles of astrodynamics, as are spacecraft trajectories, from launch through atmospheric re-entry, including all orbital maneuvers.
