Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Are You Afraid of the Dark? is counted as two distinct television series in the Internet Movie Database. The original series ran from 1992 to 1996, and a revived series with new directors, new writeres, and a new cast ran from 1999 to 2000. In both instances, the Canadian produced shows revolved around the scary stories swapped at night around a campfire by a group of kids styling themselves "The Midnight Society". Tales in the anthology were not considered to be overly creepy, and dealt with haunted houses and other paranormal themes.
