Arby's

Arby's is a fast food restaurant that is primarily known for selling roast beef sandwiches and several varieties of potato side dishes. Its target market is more adult-oriented than many fast food restaurants such as McDonald's and Burger King.

Arby's was founded by Forrest and Leroy Raffel. Their first restaurant opened in Boardman, Ohio on July 23, 1964. Today there are over 3000 restaurants worldwide.

The name Arby's came as a result of the brother's inability to use the name "Big Tex" that was being used by an Akron businessman. They eventually decided on Arby's which stands for R.B., the initials of Raffel Brothers.
