Anthropocentric

Anthropcentric: any belief that suggest that humans are the ultimate locus of value. Some people say that all beliefs are anthropcentric because humans thought them up. This is not so. Beliefs thought up by humans are always anthropgenic but they may not be anthropocentric. Anthropocentric beliefs are different from anthropogenic beliefs in that the latter beliefs are acknowledged as emerging from humans but they do not regard humans as the sole or most important source of value. For instance, a human who believes beetles should be values for themeselves MAY be anthropogenic, but they aren't anthropcentric
