Anthony Quinn

Anthony Quinn (April 21, 1915 - June 3, 2001 was a Mexican-American actor, painter, and sculptor.

He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and died in Boston, Massachusetts of cancer. His body currently rests in his Bristol, Rhode Island estate. His original name was Antonio Rudolfo Oaxaca Quinn.

Anthony appeared in 46 movies with other Oscar-winning actors (28) and actresses (18).

He was nominated for four Best Actor Oscars and won two. The award-winning movies were Wild is the Wind (1957) and Zorba the Greek (1964).

Quinn was married three times:

He is the father to 13 children, and also reportedly had several mistresses (some of whom bore him children).


Quinn received his first high school diploma from Tucson High School in Tucson, Arizona in the 1990s.
