Anne Beverly

Anne Beverly (1933-1997), was the mother of Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious (her son died in 1979 of a heroin overdose). She was a young mother and her husband had left her all alone with Sid soon after Sid was born. She traveled often, and was involved in the planning of the film about her son, Sid and Nancy, in 1986. She committed suicide in 1997.
