Amy Lee

Amy Lee (born December 13, 1981) is an American singer. She formed the band Evanescence with Ben Moody when they met at camp. Ben found Amy playing Meatloaf's "I Would Do Anything for Love" at the camp's piano, and instantly knew she was the one. Amy needed a guitarist and Ben needed a singer. So then formed the beginning of Evanescence.

In 2003, their single "Bring Me to Life" (featuring Paul McCoy) was featured on the Daredevil soundtrack, and reached number one in the UK Singles Chart.

At school Amy was a bit of a loner, her family was always moving around the country. She learned to be on her own. They finally settled in Little Rock, Arkansas, where Evanescence started. Ben left the band during their tour in Germany and no one has heard from him since. Rumours are that he was jealous of Amy's new boyfriend and that he is working with Avril Lavigne on her new album, and thinking of joining her band.

Amy doesn't really seem too bothered by this, but on the night of the ordeal, after letting out a string of 'Goddammits' she went to her dressing room and stayed there until her best friend Beth came.
