Alessandra Mussolini

Alessandra Mussolini (born 1962) is the grand-daughter of Benito Mussolini (daughter of his third son Romano Mussolini) currently a parliamentarian in the Republican Chamber of Deputies of Italy, elected in Naples for Alleanza Nazionale.

On 28 November 2003 she resigned from the party, though retaining her seat in the Chamber of Deputies, when she considered that party leader and deputy prime minister Gianfranco Fini "dishonoured her family's history" when he described fascism as "an absolute evil" when apologising in Israel for Italy's actions before and during the Second World War.
