census of 2000, there are 772 people, 251 households, and 210 families residing in the township. The population density is 8.2/km² (21.3/mi²). There are 256 housing units at an average density of 2.7/km² (7.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 99.35% White, 0.13% African American, 0.26% Native American, 0.13% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.13% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 251 households out of which 45.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.9% are married couples living together, 7.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 16.3% are non-families. 15.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.08 and the average family size is 3.44.
