After the Funeral

After the Funeral is an Agatha Christie Hercule Poirot detective novel. Richard Abernathie died a natural death - or so his family believes. But right after his funeral, his sister Cora remarks "It was hushed up very nicely ... but he was murdered, wasn't he?" At the time no one takes her seriously. But the next day, Cora is found brutally murdered with a hatchet ... And the family lawyer turns to Hercule Poirot for help.

Poirot must delve deeply into the Abernathie family history, and uncover many secrets before he can arrive at the truth.
