Ad Herbal

Ad Herbal (died 230 BC) was Commander (Admiral) of the Carthaginian fleet who battled for domination of the ocean for Carthage in 251 BC-250 BC (First Punic War) against Rome. It is known that he was in command until at least 249 BC during the battle of Drepana, which was won by the Carthaginians.
