Actual mechanical advantage
In
physics, the
actual mechanical advantage (abbreviated
AMA) is the
mechanical advantage of a real
machine.
The AMA of a machine can be found with the following formula,
- AMA = R ÷ Eactual
where
R equals the
resistance force and
Eactual equals the actual
effort force.
